Cappuccino Anyone?

When originally given the assignment to write a post for the restaurant’s blog, I laughed and asked “we have a blog?” After the usual banter between myself and Dana (our GM), she convinced me that we actually did have a blog and that I would need to have a post ready by weeks end to be posted. What was I going to write about? Two weeks later (or has it been three Dana), I have finally thrown some words together which will be immortalized along with the pervious Salt bloggers posts. Enjoy.

Ingredients:  1 shot fresh Kaladi Brothers espresso

whole milk

steamed-milk froth

1 soup spoon

If you are sitting there wondering “how did I come across this blog” don’t worry, I’m wondering the same thing. On a serious note, if you are having trouble trying to figure out the end result of all these ingredients I’ll help you, a cappuccino. I have been told I make a really good margarita, mojito, and manhattan, but there is a coffee drink that has put my face on the map behind the bar at Salt, the cappuccino. My beautiful cappuccinos didn’t always come out from behind the bar looking so picturesque, it took lots of time and whole milk to perfect my craft (sorry Bradford). The end result has received compliment from patrons, servers, and even managers. So come into Salt and treat yourself to a frothy warm beverage, just make sure I’m the one making it.
